Zoya Color Your World 2014 Promo

Zoya Color Your World 2014 Promo

As we start the new year, why not try a new polish?

Starting today and running through 1/13/14 at 11:59pm, Zoya is running their Color Your World campaign in which you can get ANY 3 polishes for free, plus a shipping and handling fee of $12.

The wording on the campaign page is a bit confusing, but if you buy 25 additional dollars worth of products, then you receive free shipping and the nail polishes are COMPLETELY free - you only pay for your additional items, no $12 S&H fee. All-in-all, it's an ingenious marketing strategy by the company and I applaud them for it.

To get in on this deal, enter the promo code "COLOR2014" at the time of purchase between 1/17/14 at 12pm EST and 1/13/14 at 11:59 EST. For full terms and conditions, see Zoya's page here.

I've read lots of good things about Zoya and am really looking forward to trying out these polishes. Once I get them, I'll have to let you know how they go.

Learn more about my selections:

My Free Selections (regular price is noted in parenthesis) :

Zoya Petra Petra ($9)
Described a "dark, smoky, dusky grey creme with strong purple undertones," the color called out to me right away. While I have several purples in my growing collection, I don't have anything quite like this color

Zoya Bevin Bevin ($9)
According to Zoya, "a dusty, medium sage green with teal tones," the first thing that drew me to this shade was the creamy sage color. It's not quite green enough to be mint, which is exactly what I love about it.

Zoya Blaze Blaze ($9)
I believe this was part of the 2012 holiday collection and I LOVE the depth of this color. Per the website, "a full coverage, cool-toned medium mulberry red with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter." Definitely going to be one of the first that I try out

Other items I bought

Zoya Payton Payton ($9)
Part of this year's winter/holiday collection, Payton appears to be Blaze's dark vixen cousin. "A full-coverage, galactic cranberry with holographic glitter."

Zoya Tomoko Tomoko ($10)
This will be my first foray into textured polishes, and I hope it turns out well! I've seen the Zoya PixieDust collections described as being like "sparkly sand" in finish, and Tomoko really embodies that. Per the description, "a romantic champagne silver with a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish." Plus, I knew someone in Japan who had this name <3

Zoya Remove Plus Remove + ($9.99)
Described as "an award wining, gentle, yet highly effective 3-in-1 nail polish remover, nail prep and nail conditioner."Yes, it's a bit much for nail polish remover, but I've heard so many amazing things about how well it works that I'm willing to try it out. Plus I really want the bottle ^_~

As I slowly get back into the world of nail polish, I keep coming across these amazing independant companies that  I never knew about before I moved abroad or back when I had a decent nail polish collection.

Zoya is one of those companies and is most well known for their "5-free" polishes, meaning that they are free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP. They are also known to be cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, for those of you out there who follow vegan lifestyles.
